CliffyB Wrote a Comic Book!
CliffyB's last game was a dog. And so was the game before that.
But his latest creative project is about dogs, and this time it's on purpose. Unlike LawBreakers and Radical Heights, the nascent Scrapper franchise is launching as a comic book. If it succeeds, cartoon and video game adaptations may follow.
Scrapper is to be published by Image, the legendary creator-controlled comic publishing house, with a story by Alex de Campi and art by Sandy Jarrell.
And CliffyB? He's the Ideas Man – co-writer and lore-keeper of a budding IP very close to his heart. The inspiration: the tragic death of one of his pets, and the joy he found in purchasing a new one.
The story is set against the backdrop of a futuristic domed city, an urban sink ruled with an iron fist. Does this dictatorial government force its subjects to use gender-neutral bathrooms? Only one way to find out: talk to the friendly staff at your neighbourhood comic book store and have the Scrapper six-issue limited series placed on your standing order. You'll also be able to read CliffyB's comic on Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play.

'Bloober Team' Behind Silent Hill 2 Remake
Astonishing news: There is a video game developer called 'Bloober Team', and they're putting together a remake of Silent Hill 2.

Nintendo Enslaves Hacker?!
A convicted hacker has essentially been enslaved by the Nintendo Corporation.
“Nintendo 'hacker' Gary Bowser has been released from prison after 40 months, but must pay the company '25-30%' of his income for the rest of his life after operating hacking website Maxconsole...
With $14.5 million dollars in damages to his name, Bowser may have been released from prison, but the looming specter on Nintendo still stands tall...
He will have to pay the company back on a monthly basis, sending '25-30%' of his gross monthly income to Nintendo.
So far, less than $200 of the total $14.5 million has been paid off. It’s likely that Bowser will never pay the full charges back in his lifetime.”
A timely reminder that Nintendo takes their Intellectual Property rights very, very seriously. Break the law egregiously, and YOU might become their property, too!

Brand New Vic-20 PCs Could Be Available Soon!
Tynemouth Software made waves in the retro community with a fully-functional reproduction of the first home computer available to the public: The Commodore PET. Unfortunately, they're now completely sold out.
But fret not – Tynemouth has embarked on a new project: a fully-functional reproduction of the first home computer to sell one million units... the Commodore Vic-20.
It's early days yet, but Tynemouth has proven that they have what it takes to bring such products to market. If you're an aging gamer with fond memories of owning one of those creamy Commodore 'breadbin' PCs back in the day, this could be just the nostalgia trip you've been hoping for.
These retro products are typically made in very small batches, so if you don't want to miss out, pay close attention to Tynemouth's official dev blog and Twitter account.
