Psycho Patrol R: A Game for Landlords
Eccentric Finnish video game developer Ville Kallio has set the price for Psycho Patrol R at US$39.99 (which, as of this writing, is equal to AU$59.42).
He hinted in a tweet that this luxury price point will make the game more appealing to cashed-up landchads who have wisely structured their finances entirely around negatively-geared investment properties.
Mere rentoids, one assumes, will have no choice but to cope and seethe... at least until the inevitable Steam sales.
In related news, Kallio has released a video compilation of the sneak-peeks he's been dripping onto Twitter, providing a quick rundown of the tone and gameplay style we can expect from his sophomore production.
Kallio has also confirmed that the stock exchange play mechanic from Cruelty Squad will return, now with the addition of dividend payouts to reward the diligent investor.
